Vietnam Era US Army Set of M1967 Nylon Pack Suspenders LC I H-Pattern - Marked US w/1968 & 1969 Contract Date - NOS Unissued Condition<br>Up for action is a set of  Vietnam Era US Army M1967 Pack Suspenders H-Pattern.  These were designed to be used with the M1956 and M1967 Field Gear.  This suspender set is in NOS Unissued Condiiton.  They are marked US with a 1968 contract date.  These were the first Nylon Pattern Supspenders which replaced the M1956 Canvas H-Pattern Suspenders.<br>The H back design nylon M1967 suspenders were 2¼ inches wide and had padded shoulders. Both shoulder pads had a metal loop to affix the supporting strap from an ammunition case and a web keeper that was typically used to attach a first aid pouch.   The M1967 design also featured snap hooks on both shoulder pads that could be clipped to the butt pack enabling it to be worn on the back without the need for adapter straps.   Unlike the M1956 Suspenders both the front and rear straps connected to the Belt via snap hooks.
